How To

Repairing A Drone's Damaged Motor

You must first identify the damaged part of your motor before you can fix it. It is easy to do this by removing the propeller shaft from the motor shaft. Next, remove all wires from the motor shaft and inspect the internal workings. If you notice something amiss, you'll know what part of your motor to fix.

If the motor has not been damaged, it is safe to fly again.

Imagine that the motor has become bent to the point it will not turn. The motor will need to be bent back into its original shape. To hold the motor, use a vice grip or pair of pliers. Once you've done this, make sure to check the motor thoroughly for signs of wear.

Once you are satisfied with everything, mount the propeller on the motor shaft. Reattach the wires. Your drone is now ready for flight!
